ORTHOPEDIC REHABILITATION
Orthopedic or Sport Related Injuries to include: shoulder, elbow, wrist, hand, hip,
knee, ankle and foot can dramatically alter ones lifestyle. Our focus is on
understanding how the injury occurred and then objectively testing the involved area
utilizing high tech computerized equipment. This information allows us to conceptualize
the cause and the extent of the injury. Very specific rehab programs focusing on the
promotion of strength, flexibility, speed and power are then established. Each patient
is also educated on physiology, anatomy and ergonomics as it pertains to his/her injury
thus assisting them in preventative care. This rehab process returns each patient to
their normal functioning capacity as soon as feasibly possible.

When I started. I was very skeptical and was really unsure of the program. I had used a chiropracter off and on over the years. Walking or riding in the car was uncomfortable and bending and lifting was all but impossible. Starting with the MRI, the problem was finally diagnosed with a disc problem. The process took a while to start feeling better but when I compare this with the several years it took to get this way, I realized it really was a short amount of time. I remember standing in my kitchen one day and simply realizing that my back didn't hurt. I had gotten so used to the pain, that it took me by suprise to realize I could move pain free! Do I still have pain now and then - sure - but that is part of life. My stiffness or pain today is the normal over exertion from doing things I enjoy - things I wasn't able to do for five years. I'm planting a vegetable garden for the first time in six years this year, And it feels great! I can't wait to be out working in the garden again. Jodi and Linda in particular are an absolute God send. Thank you! |
