AGING AND CONDITIONING

A functional decline for both men and women is one percent per year. Simply stated, as we age our strength, balance, coordination, agility, and especially our flexibility slowly decrease. Together, these factors often lead to deconditioning and excessive joint wear. Arthritis is a chronic and often debilitating disease affecting an estimated 40 million Americans and registers as the leading cause of disability in people over the age of 15.

If you are someone who is in need of rejuvenation and you feel that exercise could help you improve your quality of life, then please let our expert staff be of service to you. One of our knowledgeable and skilled physical therapists will evaluate your posture, gait strength, flexibility, mobility, endurance, coordination and balance. They will then outline a plan of care focusing on your individual needs through exercise and optimal physical activity. Our goal is to reduce or prevent functional disability and assist individuals in maintaining maximum independence in their daily activities.

Before I came to The Rejuvenation Center, I was in a considerable amount of pain. They helped me work hard to make my goal, which was to be pain free. With their help I have reached that goal. I wish to thank all of the staff for going that extra mile with me and for being so understanding and caring.
